Ghillie’s is a powerful quartet, full of energy and creativity.
The whole band has a great appetite for sharing, with the audience for sure, but also with dancers, students or children.
Marine (transverse flutes) and Yohna (fiddle and vocals) are illuminating the beautiful and powerful melodies from a traditional repertoire and also from the band’s compositions. They have a great asset, which is their playing: Philippe on the harp, whose incredible velocity rolls out the red carpet for an amazing interpretation, and Eric, whose precision and range of sound gives a tremendous stability to the global architecture of this band.
Ghillie’s repertoire has many sources of inspiration, mainly because of the diversity of its musicians.

By The Hush
With its thirteen original tracks, By The Hush delves into the relationship between sound and silence, shedding light on the emotional and narrative landscapes that unfold between each note.
The album’s title is drawn from a traditional Irish rebel song of the same name, also known as Paddy’s Lament.
‘In every pause, a world unfolds,
In silent spaces, secrets told.’
